Super Star Aquarius docks at Chan May port Update: 11/16/2011
The
Super Star Aquarius cruise ship, bringing 2,100 foreign tourists, from
Hong Kong, China docked at Chan May port in the central province of Thua
Thien-Hue on November 14.
While in Hue, visitors visited Ancient Hue relics complex and enjoyed Hue Royal Court Music.

200,000 tulip baskets to be displayed at Da Lat festival Update: 11/16/2011
Around
200,000 baskets of tulip flower will be displayed on the shores of Xuan
Huong Lake during the Da Lat Flower Festival 2012.
According
to Nguyen Vu Hoang, Chief Director of the Da Lat Flower Festival 2012,
the tulip flower baskets will be on show from December 30, 2011 until
the Lunar New Year festival, which will fall on January 23, 2012.

Vietnam Rice Festival 2011 concludes Update: 11/16/2011
The
second Vietnam Rice Festival ended on November 11 in the Mekong Delta
province of Soc Trang, affirming the important role agriculture, farmers

The

Polish airline announces first direct Warsaw-Hanoi Update: 01/03/2011
Poland’s LOT Airlines has
announced that the direct flight from Hanoi to Warsaw started on November 15,
offering passengers more air connections between Europe and Vietnam.
The Polish carrier had been
granted the traffic right to fly on the Hanoi-Warsaw route on Mondays,
Wednesdays and Fridays while flights on the Warsaw-Hanoi route will depart
three times a week – on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Cliff climbs add adventure to Dalat tour Update: 07/24/2010
Keren Taub and Alex Keagel from Israel got the buzz they wanted from their adventure tour in Dalat. Using ropes they had climbed down cliffs and the wet rock face of a waterfall, before diving into the icy cold pool at the base
“It was really nice to abseil down the rocks,” Keagel told the Daily after he leapt into the rock pool at Datanla waterfalls about 5km from the Highland city.
